Youth Trio Shines at Bethel Park
March 14, 2009 - Jeremy MacPherson completed an outstanding first season as a North Hills youth wrestler with a first place finish in the 6U-50 bracket at the Bethel Park First Year Tournament held at Bethel Park High School on February 28, 2009. Jeremy earned a total of nine trophies this year!
Great job Jeremy!
John MacPherson also capped off an exceptional season at the BP 1st, earning his eighth award in his first year of competition with a second place finish in the 10U-65 classification at BP.
Way to go John!
Meanwhile, at the Bethel Park Odd Age Open Tournament just one day later, the Indians' Gage Curry gave new meaning to the phrase "wrestling up" as the star 10U-60 wrestler first placed third at 11U-65 and then followed that performance up with an impressive second place finish at 13U-75 at this always tough late-season competition.

Youth wrestler, Gage Curry, traveled over 1400-miles over the past two weeks to compete at the Prodigy Duals in Springboro, OH and the VAC National Holiday Duals in Hampton, VA.
